Yep. just one book this week! As much as I wanted to buy more, I am participating in the 2011 DAC hosted by The Story Siren and I know I will be buying lots of books then so I might as well hold off for the rest of the year... if I can!

No college for me. I went straight into my job after high school.

"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?"

I'll have to go with the plot on this one. I just got done with a book and the characters where awesome, but I didn't care for the plot.

Leah Greene, Laine's best friend, is dead. Even though she has wished for this, because of all those things Leah made her do- Laine still feels somehow responsible. All those times in the closet. Those times that Leah said they were just practicing. Everybody wanted to be friends with Leah though, and Laine was just plain and simple, so what was so special about her? Why did Leah pick her? And why couldn't Laine just tell Leah to stop? Once Laine does make new friends, Leah returns for even more lessons. Why couldn't she just leave her alone? Laine must figure out the truth behind Leah's actions and that it's ok to trust other friends, they aren't all like Leah.

I give this book 3 out of 5 stars.
