Follow Friday/ Blog Hop

Carmel is studying web design... What did you study in college, or are currently studying and did it lead to your current 9 to 5 or are you doing something totally different?

No college for me. I went straight into my job after high school.

"What do you consider the most important in a story: the plot or the characters?"
I'll have to go with the plot on this one. I just got done with a book and the characters where awesome, but I didn't care for the plot.

  3. Happy HOP! This week's question wasn't so simple to answer but ultimately it was characters for me. That's where I make my connection to the story. LOVE your blog and I'll be back.

  6. Finally! Nice to find somebody else who agrees with me on the plot. Strong characters are absolutely important, but they need to be involved in a storyline that engages me.

  7. I did not go to college, and I am currently retired. I worked for over 15 years in the secretarial division of Emery Air Freight in the 1960s and 1970s. I was a stay-at-home mom for the 1980s and 1990s, and now I am helping my daughter with her business, Tribute Books as the volunteer office manager.

  8. I had such a hard time with today's question. I don't think you can have one without the other. But, for me the characters are what usually keep me reading and why I invest my time in the book.

  9. Hi! I'm a new follower. I think characters make the story, however, it should have a good plot.
Hope you have a great weekend. I look forward to reading more of your posts :)

  10. This might be the best Book Blogger Hop question I've seen to date.

So what's the answer? Plot! Hop over to my blog and let me tell you how a good plot rescued bad characters from bad book oblivion.
